American romantic comedy-drama 'Life As We Know It'

Welcome back, guys!! From my other blog, I was previously talking about the indie band which is Thai and American. Today, I'm not going to show you the other band but I will move to another entertainment which I am interested in also. Let's see!!

Recently, I just came across the romantic

comedy called "Life As We Know It" on Netflix and I decided to give it a watch. For me, this movie is really charming, funny, entertaining, and surprisingly not overly sentimental for its tearjerker moments. The lead actors were perfectly cast for their roles with no false notes. Both of them have excellent chemistry. The script is great, the direction is solid and even all the minor characters do a fantastic job.

And today, I am going to talk about this wonderful movie "Life As We Know It" which I just mentioned above. It is a 2010 American romantic comedy-drama film directed by Greg Berlanti, starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. It was released on October 8, 2010.

Holly Berenson (Katherin Heigl) and Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) meet ugly, rather than cute on a blind date set up by their mutual best friends, Peter and Allison (played by Christina Hendricks and Hayes MacArthur), but it goes horribly wrong and results in both hating each other. As the years go by, Peter and Alison get married and have a baby girl named Sophie Christina. Shortly, Peter and Allison are tragically killed in an automobile accident, Holly and Messer learn that they have been named as the guardians to Peter and Allison's daughter, Sophie. If they accept the responsibility, they will have to live together in their friends’ house. But it ain't gonna be easy. They must put their differences behind them to give their new charge a loving home. After much debating and arguing, they reluctantly agree to take on the challenge moving into Sophie's home to care for her and try their best to honor their friends' wishes. But raising a child puts a crimp on their style and they don't exactly get along well.

It's a sweet story of a couple of single people who are given a child when their best friends die in a car accident and the trial and tribulations of going through what it takes to raise a child.

In my opinion, being parents, you will do anything and go above and beyond to make sure the child is first, and sometimes, you have no idea what you are doing, but you keep fighting to make the child happy. I think Katerine Heigl was actually the perfect casting choice for something like this, she seems sweet and looks like she would make a good mother. Josh Duhamel on the other hand, starts out as an Asshole but is a totally different person by the end, and of course, the ending is as predictable as ever, but it's more about the relationship they have with the child, rather than each other. It has a few funny lines but it's mostly light-hearted, and it works on that level.

I really liked this film. It was a really heartwarming film and a great family film to watch. Katherine Heigl is brilliant as always and Josh Duhamel is absolutely gorgeous and plays his role exceptionally well. I loved the two of them together in this. They have a great chemistry between each other.

Overall, "Life As We Know It", the romantic film about the ups and downs of life, is a nice easy to watch. It will remind you of how important love and family are. If you like the genre and the stars then give it a go because there's enough here for an enjoyable viewing.
